Therapeutic Piano Lessons
Maybe you have always wanted to learn piano, but starting something new feels intimidating—especially if perfectionism, fear of failure, or one more commitment in an already full life makes beginning feel risky. These private, one-to-one lessons give adults a supportive way to make music, work with everyday barriers, and try a new response to perfectionism and fear of failure—with curiosity, flexibility, and room to be a beginner.

Therapeutic piano lessons combine beginner-friendly music instruction with a gentle, experiential approach. As you work with rhythm, sound, coordination, repetition, and mistakes, you can notice how you respond to uncertainty, frustration, effort, and progress—and practice patience, flexibility, self-compassion, and follow-through in real time. Everyday stressors and concerns can be acknowledged as they affect your attention, motivation, practice, or confidence.
The goal is not perfect performance; it is learning an instrument in a way that supports expression, confidence, and a more sustainable relationship with challenge.
Lessons are offered in person only and are private pay. They are piano instruction with a therapeutic lens, not music therapy.
